Jared brings a diverse clinical background to the Kaplan Center, with experience in functional medicine, gastroenterology, and urgent care. His approach emphasizes prevention and whole-person care, focusing on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease through proactive, individualized treatment strategies designed to optimize patient outcomes and reduce the risk of chronic illness.

Prior to joining the Kaplan Center, Jared worked closely with a chiropractor treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. In this role, he performed therapeutic injections—including trigger point injections, joint injections, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections—while also helping design and guide patients through individualized rehabilitation exercises to restore strength, mobility, and proper movement patterns. Through this experience, he developed expertise in the conservative treatment of musculoskeletal pain using injection therapies and regenerative medicine techniques, including PRP and shockwave therapy. These treatments have been shown in both medical literature and clinical practice to reduce or eliminate pain associated with conditions such as knee pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, plantar fasciitis, elbow pain, and tendonitis.

Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Jared built a strong clinical foundation as a Registered Nurse in critical care and emergency department settings, where he cared for medically complex patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. This experience strengthened his skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration. His background across acute care, musculoskeletal medicine, and functional health allows him to provide patient-centered care that integrates evidence-based medicine with preventive and functional medicine principles.
