Why Try IV Therapy?
One of the main benefits of intravenous therapy is that nutrients are infused directly into the bloodstream. In this manner they provide a quick and vigorous boost to patients’ immune systems, enhancing the body’s ability to heal itself and maintain its optimal level of health. The Kaplan Center’s physicians use IV Therapy for a variety of reasons. The immune-boosting properties of supplemental IVs can:
• Help manage symptoms associated with many chronic pain conditions and illnesses such as fibromyalgia, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, cardiovascular disease, cancer, Sjögren’s syndrome, MS, diabetes and hypoglycemia, and premenstrual/menstrual symptoms;
• Shorten the duration of acute illnesses, such as colds and flu;
• Help patients stay as healthy as possible throughout medical treatments such as IV antibiotic therapy and detoxification protocols;
• Accelerate tissue regeneration and protect against secondary infections when taken prior to and immediately following surgery; and,
• Assist in the body’s detoxification process.

An assessment by a Kaplan physician, or a Physician Referral, is required in advance of receiving IV treatment. If you have kidney disease, IV Therapy may not be appropriate for you.
A portion of IV fees may be reimbursable if you have out-of-network benefits.
Modified Myers’ Cocktail

Myers’ Cocktails have been used for decades to treat a wide variety of conditions including fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, and chronic fatigue. However, almost anyone can benefit from this therapy, including athletes, anyone under high levels of stress, or even frequent travelers who would like to boost their immune system.

Glutathione (GSH) is an antioxidant that plays a powerful role in the body’s detoxification process. It is the most abundant of the endogenous anti-oxidants in the Central Nervous System, and perhaps the most important. It is naturally produced in the body and helps your body detoxify by getting rid of damaging free radicals. In doing so, it maintains optimal functioning of the immune system. Unfortunately, as we age GSH levels become depleted; toxins, poor diet, medications, infections, and stress all contribute to its depletion. Without enough glutathione in our bodies, we become “unbalanced” in terms of inflammation and anti-inflammation, and in terms of destruction and repair. Supplementing the body’s own supply of glutathione boosts its ability to prevent cell damage and remove toxins from the body.
As we age levels of NAD+ decline substantially. This decline leaves us at greater risk for neuro and muscular degeneration, it compromises our cardiometabolic health, and it compromises our capacity for cellular repair and resiliency. In short, declining levels of NAD+ compromises our cells’ ability to create energy, resulting in accelerated aging and an increased risk of disease. By replenishing cellular levels of NAD+ you can repair DNA, protect brain cells from damage, reduce inflammation, improve muscle recovery, and turn on enzymes that help prevent aging and help improve painful and debilitating symptoms of many chronic illnesses and depression.
